Record 1:1 conversations on iPhone and Apple Watch. Speaker-labeled transcripts, created entirely on your device — sealed with your passcode.
Even an unlocked phone keeps your conversations sealed. Shruta encrypts every recording and transcript behind a key derived from your password — there is no Shruta account, no cloud backend, and no way for anyone (including us) to read your content. Built for the conversations that deserve to stay between the people who had them: medical appointments, difficult talks, interviews, coaching sessions.
No. Recording, transcription, and speaker labeling all happen on your device. There is no Shruta account and no cloud backend, and Shruta collects no analytics. A recording leaves Shruta only when you explicitly export it yourself.
Shruta runs speech-recognition models on your iPhone. The first use of a language may download model files; after that, transcription works fully offline — in English, Dutch, and German.
Yes. Shruta separates the speakers on your device and labels each paragraph. Correct a label once and it applies across the whole conversation — and if the automatic speaker count is off, you can reprocess the recording with the exact number of participants.
Shruta has no account and no backdoor — Spookwerk cannot read or recover your recordings. If your vault still unlocks (for example with Face ID), you can set a new password after your iPhone confirms it's you. Otherwise your recordings stay sealed, by design.
Your first 7 recordings are free, with every feature included. After that, a one-time purchase of €5.99 unlocks unlimited recordings. No subscription, no ads.
